ABOUT THE OWNER

Hi! I'm Sophie, and I've just graduated from King's College London with a degree in English. Over the years I've tried my hand in many industries, from SFX makeup work on set to finance and everything in between. While these are still passions of mine, nothing compares to my love for literature and art.

Since COVID-19 I've fine tuned my passion for freelance graphic design alongside my insatiable need to consume texts of all kinds, cumulating in this blog site. I've designed covers (as seen in my portfolio), proofread upcoming work, studied ancient texts, completed two 100,000 word novels and written 2 short stories - among other ventures.

I'm currently in the process of R&D of a collaborative magazine Dear the Darlings that I hope can somewhat be reflected here and vice versa. Knowing so many creative talents without a creative outlet is such a shame - so I hope to see work produced showcased here as time passes!

Anything can be written on GIRLS NOTES APP - the point is, almost everyone writes in their phones notes app. Poetry, shopping lists, practise texts to send to would-be partners, short stories, inspiration for restaurants for that upcoming Paris trip... We're constantly encouraged by every guru online to journal. So why not share?
